Coxsackie A IgG/IgM Antibody

A blood test that detects antibodies to Coxsackie A viruses, which are enteroviruses belonging to the Picornavirus family. This test uses indirect immunofluorescence to determine IgG and IgM titers to common serotypes including A7, A9, A16, and A24. Coxsackie A is most commonly associated with hand, foot, and mouth disease, which primarily affects children under 10 years of age.
