TgAb and Thyroglobulin, IMA or RIA

$20.00Price

A blood test that measures both thyroglobulin (Tg) and thyroglobulin antibodies (TgAb) using two different laboratory methods. The test determines which method to use based on whether you have TgAb in your blood. If TgAb is negative (not detected): Your Tg is measured by IMA (Immunometric Assay) – a fast, sensitive method with results typically available in 1-4 days. If TgAb is positive (detected): Your Tg is automatically switched to RIA (Radioimmunoassay) – a slower method (often 5-7 days) that is more resistant to antibody interference, providing a more accurate result.
